KFCF’s Rick Flores invited musicians from the up-coming fundraiser concert for the Community Alliance and KFCF, to his morning show “Wasteland of the Free”. On November 16th at 7:00 p.m. Agustin Lira, Patricia Wells and Jemmy Bluestein will present a concert of music called Newzapolooza @ the Unitarian Universalist Church of Fresno.

The concert will also feature students from the Generaciones Project: Ukulele, Guitar & singing for children thru seniors. Two community performing groups have been formed from the advanced and intermediate students: Zunzún Kids’ Ensemble and Generaciones Ensemble, an intergenerational acoustic group.
Generaciones Project focuses on the folklore of Mexico, the US and Latin America, teaching contemporary styles of music that reflects our community, songs of love as wells as songs of social justice; the students also study and perform Agustin Lira’s music.
